School H

I was way more low key this time around. We had fun, but the kids played way more and had less organized learning like usual. I was worn out and frustrated from an online learning course. 

We always sing songs like abc's and the months of the year. It is super cute to listen toSiienna and Tyson sing them. We talked about Hh and traced them. Then we went to the counter and colored pics.

That's the pic, but they are certainly making a mess in the background. We hung window heart decals, or lack of a better word at the moment, on the window. Strange how much they loved it. Serena loved pulling them off and eating them when she woke up am found them. 

We also put h "h" hearts on the wall. They love sticking things to anything. 

If you can decipher the coded message by unscrambling the hearts...you win! However there are no prizes, you just get bragging rights. 

We made hot chocolate and cookie hearts. Too bad I didn't take enough pictures of the process. The city was working on our street so we didn't have water all day. Flour and cookie dough with little ones -oh and FROSTING- interesting...let's just say siennas attention to detail paid off in this situation. 

We used food coloring to make more colors. Tyson loved rolling his cookie, but really loved painting it. Serena loved the frosting. 

Tyson kept saying, yum yum yum with every bite. Serena would giggle a little and then copy him. He had no idea he was being silly. He was just enjoying his cookie. 

Finally we made heart valentines together. They ate the sucker and I filled the bags.
